Cow Chick played by Leesey and two very capable and fun-loving volunteers, Paul and Carol, entertained and educated festival attendees at World Vegetarian Day. They spread the world about bamboo, vegetarianism, and "The Great Bamboosical." Speakers included John Robbins, Dr. McDougall, M.D., and Bruce Friedrich, and there was live entertainment and Cafe International, an area of international vegan food!

Los Angeles, CA - World Fest

World Fest was great! There were speakers, music, and plant-based food all oriented towards compassionate living. We reached many people with the message of compassion and veganism as well through "The Great Bamboosical." The BambooBurger™ Plant-based Patty was tasted and loved by many at WorldFest. The LA Times also did a story on the burger. Eat the burger that will heal the Earth!

Hopland, NC - Solfest

SolFest was a lot of fun! We met more people making the world a more sustainable place, got the word out about "The Great Bamboosical," experienced the very cool bamboo pyramid, and met with potential investors. We also found Eleese Longino, who is now Lucy the Cow Chick!

Houston, TX: BambooBurger™ Plant-based Burger BBQ on the Bayou

"The Great Bamboosical" came to Houston for a BBQ with coverage by KHOU Channel 11 and Go Vegan Texas Radio on KPFT 90.1 FM. We had a great time spreading the word about meatless alternatives to Houston listeners and viewers!

The dyed-in-the-wool meat eaters love the burger too.
